Microsoft has finally admitted that Xbox 360 consoles have indeed had significant problems with reliability in the form of an open letter written by Peter Moore. Microsoft have announced that they are extending the warranty program on all Xbox 360 consoles worldwide to 3 years from the date of purchase, and that they will refund anyone who already had the three red lights of death and had to pay for a system repair. "Microsoft stands behind its products and takes responsibility to ensure that every Xbox 360 console owner continues to have a fantastic gaming experience" says Moore."If we have let any of you down in the experience you have had with your Xbox 360, we sincerely apologize." After having 3 faulty consoles myself, and now on my 4th, at least I don't have to worry about that anymore.
