Feature: E3 Live

Things are about to get a bit Nintendo Stylee round here soon as Nintendo steps up to deliver it's E3 press conference, which should start in around 10 minutes now. After this morning's strong, yet unsurprising performance from Microsoft- what will Nintendo give us?

  • "Nintendo is not a fad, it's the future" says Reggie
  • DS has sold over 60m worldwide
  • Showing new controller 'Wii Zapper'
  • Showing how the Wii Zapper works with Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
  • Wii Zapper will be available for only $19.99, and will be packaged with software
  • Showing Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for DS
  • Super Smash Bros Brawl will launch in the US on Dec 3rd
  • Showing Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on DS.
  • Playing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
  • A new Wii Channel is on the way called 'Check me out' to do with Wii Miis
  • Mario Kart for Wii coming Q1 08- and it's online!
  • New controller coming with Mario Kart- the 'Wii Wheel'
  • Showing Mario Galaxy- looks very nice. Will be available November 12th
  • Announcing 'Wii Fit' and it is used with another new controller- the 'Wii Balance Board'

And that's it from Nintendo. Not too many surprises then. Mario Galaxy looks really good, but we already knew that. A little disappointed overall- not much new to shout about, other than Mario Kart Wii- which should be good.
