Electronic Arts have released the Xbox 360 demo of Command and Conquer 3 on Xbox Live Marketplace. The PC version, which is already available, has racked up a very impressive average of 86% in reviews. The demo packs a fair punch too, weighing in at exactly 1GB. EA claim to have tailor made the Xbox 360 version of C&C3 for the system, including the tricky task of mapping RTS controls correctly to a controller- something which is largely thought as impossible. Admittedly, EA did come close with their last RTS outing on the console- The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II- but still had room for improvement. Can C&C succeed where so many other console RTS games have failed? Download the demo now to find out!

I actually gave up trying to download this on it's demo release day.
Longest wait for a demo to download so far (until Halo 3)?
