Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday: Luxor 2

Luxor 2, the Egyptian themed puzzle game, will be this weeks new Xbox Live Arcade game. Luxor 2 will be available for 800 MSP. Yawn. Well that's another Xbox Live Arcade game I won't be downloading then.

Yawn indeed.

MS need to pull their finger out and get Sonic 1/2/3/& Knuckles on Live Arcade, get some quality games on it. They've got Doom on it, how about Duke Nukem or Quake, or how about getting Doom 2 and Final Doom (i'd download the latter, i never had Final Doom).

Not that Sonic would really interest me personally, i've still got my Mega Drive and all the games, lol.

I totally agree. Sonic is/was supposed to be heading to Xbox Live Arcade- but there's been absolutely no news on it since it was shown off in an Arcade montage quite a while back.

Also- what about a 2D Tomb Raider? If they managed to make versions for mobile phones, then they could do it for Live Arcade.

When they release classics, they must make a good job of them and make them worth while (and priced at 400 MSP) and not just a crappy over priced port.

New titles always interest me more though.

And what about a new download service with larger games- like 1GB in size and that. Keep Xbox Live Arcade for the small, cheap(ish) arcade games- but then how about also introducing a service where you can download larger, full games.

Like the PS3- it has games that were once going to be retail games up for download on Sony Store. Grand Turisimo HD is up there and Warhawk will be. Xbox Live needs a service like this me thinks. It's very much achieveable even with the 20GB HDD- but especially with the upcoming 120GB HDD.
