News: Gears of War gets to number 8..........in Japan!?!

Heresy I tell ya! Did every Xbox 360 owner in Japan buy 5 copies or something? Gears of War has just spent it's first week on sale in the far east; most expected that this western developed third person shooter would be yet another great Xbox 360 game to acquire a frosty reception from Japanese gamers. Not so- with Gears of War reaching eighth position in the all formats chart. A western developed shooter going down a hit in Japan? It's true.
