I suppose you guessed from the title exactly what I am talking about. At midnight tonight Sony will be announcing it's full UK and European PS3 launch plans- including date, price etc. It is widely expected that it will cost us great British folk about £425 for a 60GB Playstation 3, and that it will launch on the 23rd March this year*. I'll keep you informed as the announcements happen. So, will you be getting a shiny new Playstation 3 to go with your Xbox 360?*well...hopefully this year.

I won't be buying one. Let's be honest - it's going to be the best part of £500 after you buy a game to go with the console. That's silly money.
PS - Remember when the PS2 fan boys used to say that the Xbox was huge and heavy, looked ugly and had a worse pad? We used to say that it was more powerful (in our defence).
Funny how things work out, because it looks like the arguements will be reversed very soon.

Yes I say the same thing mate. Although- is the PS3 more powerful than the 360. As far as I can tell- both consoles work out about the same due to the fact that they both do different things better than the other. I will buy one...but most probably not at launch. The games aren't really that great, either that or they're already on 360.
