Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday: RoboBlitz

RoboBlitz is the latest game to be added to the ever expanding Xbox Live Arcade service. You play as a maintenance robot and you must stop an invasion of space pirates! The game is the first Xbox Live game to be built using the revolutionary Unreal 3 engine. The game will be available on Wednesday at 09:00 GMT and if you want the full version- it's 1200 MSP.
Here is a full description from Xbox.com-

"RoboBlitz is a fast paced 3D action game with unique physics, inventive gizmos, weapons, and characters. Players take on the role of Blitz, a multi-talented robot who must activate an aging space cannon to save his world from a band of maladjusted space pirates. Set in seven distinct environments, RoboBlitz features 19 levels of puzzle-solving and high-intensity action."

Anyone tried this yet?

Yes- just had a quick go now. It's a rather impressive technical achievement for an XBLA game- using the Unreal 3 engine. However it just all seems a bit boring and slow paced.

One day they'll get it right and make a 'must have' XBLA title.

Yeah it's not a must have, but it seems decent. For 1200 points though...I can understand the price based on the fact that the game uses more expenisive software- but the game itself isn't fun enough to get most people to spend 1200 MSP.
