Feature: GOTY awards- Most surprisingly good game awardAfter the absolutely awful Angel of Darkness I, as had many, feared that it may be the beginning of the end for Lara and her (until recently) pointy boobs...ahem...I mean Tomb Raider series. Thankfully, however, Eidos gave out a professional 'sod you' to developers Core and then went on to hand development over to Crystal Dynamics. It turned out to be a good decision, with Tomb Raider Legend being critically acclaimed as a success- whilst not being particularly next gen, it took Tomb Raider back to it's roots- which is what we all wanted to be honest.

i also really loved this game. i was'nt a gamer until i met you! And although i had watched my dad playing Tomb Raider i never played it myself. When you bought it i was really taken by it....hence getting it for my birthday!!! :-)

Xbox 360 has actually done pretty well in attracting more girl gamers- mainly due to Xbox Live Arcade I reckon, and games like this and Viva Pinata to name a few.
