News: Gears of War
Gears of War is now available in the United States and has so far received phenomenal reviews. It seems to have managed to beat the hype, and I simply can't wait to get a hands on with it. Remember, I will be writing a play test this weekend as I get a chance to play it on Saturday. The game will release over here next Friday, 17th November- with a collectors edition also available. This my friends, is what the next generation is all about.

Ahhh, stop teasing me! I can't afford it yet, my crappy 50hz TV will have to suffice, lol.

Lol! You can come down here and play split screen co-op with me in 720p....or 1080i if you prefer. :) I'm sure it'll be fine in 50hz- only a few games are 60hz only like Oblivion.
I've got a friend who works in GS. I checked his profile earlier tonight and he seems to be playing GOW. Surely there must be some mistake? That's not out till Friday. :)
I wonder if any major stores will break the release date. It seems if one does, the rest follow.
Those naughty GS boys. Presumably they took delivery of them today (or yesterday) and sneaked a copy home.
I bet they wouldn't let me 'sneak a copy home' if I asked tomorrow!
It would be nice to get it early, but it probably won't happen.
There's always hope in for shape of Woolies. Problem with that though is price. Surely £49.99 in that shop. Wait until Friday and get it for £39.99.
I want this game, but not bad enough so I lose a tenner for the sake of one day.
Yeah and I get it for £35 SE in HMV.
