Call of Duty 3: Early Impressions
+ Slightly improved visuals
+ A hell of a lot more going off on screen at any one time
+ Multiplayer is a masterpiece, 24 players, and vehicles!
+ Weapons far more realistic
+ Got surround sound? Sound effects are magnificent
+ Not as linear as some reviews will have you believe
- Shite cutscenes
- Singleplayer not as varied as Call of Duty 2
- A few glitches here and there
- Some slight connection problems on Xbox Live, ranked games are currently broken- will probably be patched
- Overly gun-ho and scripted
Look out for the full review early next week!
11th hour/11th day/11th month- thankyou for everything, you will never be forgotten...

One of my mates in my Law lesson told me today that he rented it over the weekend and while he said it was good he managed to complete it in TWO DAYS. I know that CoD3 isn't from the same makers as CoD2 but they could have at least tried to make it last as long as the last game. I don't think 2 days worth of single player is worth £39.99 so i'll probably wait for the price drop on that one (and judging by how badly in sales it is faring in the US against Gears of War i can't see it being too long before the price drops), It looks like it'll be R6: Vegas for me then :)
I completed it in 1 Day- yes it is quite short.
I think that to the non-COD owning man on the street, you'd be much wiser to take Argos' current offer off buy 2 games for £39.99. COD2 is included in this, so in theory you could get, say, PGR3 and COD2 for the same price as COD3, which is also £39.99 in Argos.
COD2 is a better game, and cheaper!
