Update

I just thought I'd update you on what's headed to the site soon. Well I picked up Splinter Cell: Double Agent yesterday, and after a few moments of worry, am enjoying it more now. I think Splinter Cell Veterans (like myself) will find things they like, and things they dislike about the game. I'm not going to give too much away yet; the review will be up very soon.
Don't forget that Ubisoft announced a few weeks ago that a demo is due for Rainbow Six: Vegas on Monday. A full list of updates are as follows:

  • Splinter Cell: DA review
  • Lumines Live! review
  • Phantasy Star Universe preview
  • Mortal Kombat review
  • Rainbow Six: Vegas preview

When you review Splinter Cell, could you split the review in to two halves or something, the single player and the multiplayer, i never really cared about the MP so all i really want to know is what the SP is like.

Yeah sure- anything for you Clarkey boy. :)

For me, the game is always about the singleplayer- multiplayer is a bonus.

I'll be interested to know how difficult you think the game is. I have heard of a couple of people that it's quite hard. I personally found the XBL demo tricky.

Regarding PSU - I have to say that I got really sucked in. I'll be getting it the day it comes out.

One slight gripe is the release date. I notice that it's down for the 24/11 in the UK, while the US get it on the 24/10. That means the rooms will be full of high level American characters. Not fair.

Regarding the difficulty level on SCDA, it is a challenge- but not too much so, nothing that Splinter Cell veterans can't handle.
The PSU preview will be up soon, after the SCDA review, the Lumines Live! review, and the Mortal Kombat review.
