News: Halo 3 demo?

An article written on the UK OXM's website talks about the possibility of us seeing a Halo 3 demo at some point, prior to release. Well it would certainly be awesome if that were the case (*remembers his 5 minute pre-release play of Halo 2*.) All talk is of a possible Halo 3 demo, or Halo 3 itself, being released to co-inside with the EU Playstation 3 launch and designed to cause Playstation 3 some trouble. A demo is possible, but somewhat unlikely in my opinion. The big game releases don't usually see a pre-release demo, or sometimes no demo at all. If they were to release a demo, they would have to make sure it was a very polished one.
At this point, I'm going to make a prediction. Why? Because I can. I'm going to say that I think Halo 3 will be available at the end of 2007 (November time.) Now we wait.

I've heard that the Halo 3 demo will actually cost money to download :/

While i'd obviously download it (who wouldn't? lol), i hope other developers/publishers don't follow this trend and start charging for demo's on Live...£1.70 for Horse Armour on Oblivion was bad enough without them charging us for a demo.

I have heard that rumour also. I really doubt it though. MS would want everyone and anyone to play the demo, so they wouldn't reduce the target audience by charging for the demo. It seems like a ridiculus concept.
