News: Dashboard Update

The new dashboard update is now available; you will be prompted to download it automatically next time you sign in to Xbox Live. A full list of what the update actually does can be found here. Most obvious are the changes they have made to Xbox Live Arcade, making it run quicker and giving it a cleaner interface. There are also changes for the video interface where they will now be stored under the media blade rather than games. Other stand out features include HD 1080p support, HD-DVD support, wireless headset support, and XNA support.

I've heard that this update fucks up not only modded 360's but NEW 360's that have never been updated as well, so i'll be understandably nervous about installing any updates come Xmas day, i think i'll leave Live until i've finished SC:DA and Gears, at least then MS's shitty update wont ruin MY Christmas. If it want's to screw up after i've finished the main games, at least i wont be crying* over xmas, lol.

NOTE: *Wont actually be crying, but you get the picture.

You're way over reacting on this. Yes there were SOME, like with anything, that were affected- however not many. Also MS has resolved this issue now, so it's no longer a problem. You'll be fine- trust me.
Can't wait until Friday btw- COD3!!! :)

ps- YOU ARE GOING ON LIVE TO PLAY CO-OP WITH ME AT XMAS SO DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT NOT LOGGING ON!!! It's kool too because you can be playing single player by yourself, then you can invite a friend to play during any point- he will then jump in the game with you and you'll still unlock all the single player achievements! It's seemless!
