New demo: Phantasy Star Universe (BETA)

Exciting news coming from Sega tonight as they have announced that from this coming Wednesday, an open Beta version of Phantasy Star Universe will be available to download on Marketplace, aslong as you have an active Xbox Live Gold account. The Beta will run for a week, giving you a decent opportunity to play. Get in!
For those that don't know, PSU is a MMORPG set in a futuristic world with loads of funky Japanese stuff. Also for the first time in the series, this game has a proper single player mode- but obviously the bulk of the game is in the multiplayer.
I can't wait until Wednesday now. I loved Phantasy Star Online (Dreamcast and eventually Xbox) and I really hope this turns out to be good- a strong MMORPG would do so much for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live right now. Bring it on!

Sega have just announced that the much anticipated Beta demo of Phantasy Star Universe has been delayed. No new date has currently been set but "it is anticipated to release in the next few days." In other words, the Beta is ready but Microsoft decided to hold it back for some unknown reason. :(
